Thaw is a performance by Australian theatre company Legs On The Wall. Artist performed for 8 hours on a 2.7 tonne melting ice sculpture which was hoisted at times, 20 meters in the air to a score by the Alaskan composer Matthew Burtner.
Thaw addresses humankind’s impact on the planet. The performance was part of the Greenwich and Docklands International Festival (GDIF).
